Trance

Trance is a melodic, slow progressive genre that utilizes arpeggios and synthesizers. As the name suggests, trance is known for being hypnotic to listeners. Tracks often feature no vocals, however, some may have a phrase that is repeated throughout the song.

Mood/vibe

Trance is often very calming, however they can also energize crowds at raves and music festivals. It can make listeners want to get on the dance floor, but it can also be great for background music. Trance evokes the feeling of being at an underground rave in Europe during the 90’s, or gliding across the clouds above a still ocean of water.
